I knew this was going to be a fun wedding when I walked in and Anna was donning a mustache. The fun continued as she and her dad practiced their surprise father/daughter dance which as you can see below turned out to be AWESOME! I just can’t say enough about how warm, funny, and thoughtful both Mike and Anna (and their families) were – most certainly my kinda peeps!

Intimate Biltmore Inn + Estate Wedding

Check out Susan + Brian’s Biltmore Inn + Estate wedding photographed by associate photographer Suzie.

Susan is from Boston and she and Brian wanted to show their support for the marathoners – some of which were her friends. It was a touching display when they touted their Be Strong bracelets on their wedding day.

Suzie said it was one of her favorite weddings that she’s ever photographed due to Susan and Brian being so laid back and sweet! And I was so happy to hear from Susan the next day when she emailed me to say this about Suzie, “Not only is she a totally awesome human being to be around, but she’s a goddess of a photographer as well!!!!”

Jubilee + On Broadway Downtown Asheville Wedding

Here is Emily + Grant’s wedding photographed by associate photographer Beth. I am so in love with Emily’s wedding gown by Hayley Paige, and the photos Beth took of her at the Grove Arcade are insanely good. I’m convinced Emily is a natural model – she knew just how to angle herself in a way that would make Audrey Hepburn proud, and Grant has that kind of super hero-esque smile that you expect light to glint off of with the sound accompaniment of “Ding!”

Beth had so much fun with their wedding and I was giddy going through the photos, and seeing as how I feel like a mama bear with my associates, I want to brag on Beth by sharing something Emily said to her, “Many people came up to me throughout the evening and asked if you were a close friend of mine – a true testament in my eyes that you are fabulous at your job!”

Romantic and Rainy Biltmore Inn + Estate Wedding

The saying goes that rain on your wedding day means good luck. If luck came in a quantifiable amount, Jennifer + Joe would have it times a billion! Storm clouds couldn’t keep the smiles away for this Biltmore wedding (Jennifer has the MOST incredible, infectious laugh), and the Biltmore Inn staff were so awesome in moving the ceremony at the very last second! I loved everything about this wedding. From the intimate ceremony of 10 to the flower girl’s enthused petal throwing and yes, I even loved the rain. There’s nothing more intimate than stealing snuggly kisses with your loved one under an umbrella! Check out more of their photos here.

Always such an honor to be featured on the industry giant that is Modernly Wed! We are partial to this Greensboro wedding because of the CATS!!!! Yep, we’re pretty bonkers over our kitties here at Jen Yuson Photography. This fun couple brought their cats along for the ceremony, which of course, went immediately down in the history books as one of our favorites.
